Schippers is not only the second fastest athlete in the world this year, she is also now the fastest European athlete of the past decade. 10”81 is slighty slower than the 10”77 posted by Bulgarian Ivet Lalova back in 2004. The 200m in Brussels is the Diamond Race Final of that event.
